Can anyone tell me the main differences between these saws? I can see a difference in color, obviously. And the 651 has a outfeed table. What else sets these two saws apart?

Yes, my circ saw didn't have any problems with it. It went through the aluminum just as easy as the ply I was intending to cut.

Okay, thought I would share my stupidity with the world.

I was cutting down a piece of 1/2" ply. Had it sitting on top of my table saw. Was using my circ saw. Not paying close enough...

I don't really have much insight to add, except that I was in your same shoes. Went back and forth with the decision. I ended up with the 514x2. Bigger is always better, right? :D
