I have the PC that will do smaller biscuits but to be honest since I bought my Kreg K3 Master kit I haven't used biscuits. Pocket holes are so much easier plus you don't have to wait for the glue to...
I have Windows Vista on one machine and XP on my machine at work and have the same issues on both. Double click the icon and it takes several seconds for it to open. I had no issues until I installed...
Why is this in Deals and Discounts????
Do a search. This was discussed a couple of weeks ago and gets discussed often. You should be able to find the info you need. But as said above it is a matter of preference.
I love mine. I have had to for a couple of years and have had no issues with it.
To be honest, unless you have or had a 14" saw you probably wouldn't know what a riser block is. I have one on my Grizz 14" bandsaw and it makes a big difference. I like having it just for the...
hey Bob, I saw that too. Can't afford something like that right now but the machine looked pretty clean and the price seemed fair.
You can check this too. You said it jerks but this may still apply:
My saw makes a "clunk" when it starts. What could cause this?
A. On the elevating shaft, inside the saw toward the...
I stand corrected then. I thought it was the replacement for the 22-560. Without the cutter head lock I am sure snipe would be an issue.
I agree with all that is stated. The child in the shop is okay as long as they are out of the way. Where your child was if something went terribly wrong they would be in trouble.
Second, I don't...
I also have the 22-560 that I got on clearance for $125 and it is awesome. The TP305 was the replacement for it and I don't think you will be disappointed. Sure I would love to have a three head...
My dad bought the Dremel over the weekend. I was looking at the blades for it and on the back of them it said they would also fit the Fein and the Bosch cordless. So they may not look alike but...
The problem with Home Depot receipts is that they will fade over time and in a hurry. Within about six months you can't read them anyway. I was told by a Home Depot employee one time to make copies...
Just to add I had a right tilt contractor's saw for years and went to a left tilt Unisaw. I really like the left tilt better and to me it seems more natural and I am right handed. I think in the end...
Unless I am reading something wrong that is the way you are supposed to use a sliding miter saw. Pull the carriage out past the wood, pull down to start your cut, then push it back while cutting.
Also make sure you are always feeding the stock right to left. It is easy to get this backwards when working on a router table.
I have that one but mine has the digital readouts. Fantastic saw for the price. I love mine and paid $550 on sale.

Wow, talking about bringing a thread back to life. This thread is three years old.
I have the K3 master system and I love it. I pretty much do all my construction with pocket screws and glue. It builds fast and you don't have to wait for the glue to setup to proceed on building. I...
I use Cat5e cable everyday and all that I have ever used there is no solid white wire. Plus there is only four pair not six. Cat6 is the same way except there is a plastic t that runs through the...
Most of the current computers no longer have PS2 ports for a mouse and keyboard. The Dell's we have been getting in don't have parallel ports either. Plus every install of Windows I have done (not...
I actually went through two of these before I gave up. They both vibrated something awful but when I got the second one you could watch the upper half flex up and down as the blade moved. I finally...
I just did a bathroom remodel and I used 18 gauge 2" brads and it worked fine. I have a 16 gauge finish nailer but it makes a good size whole to have to fill.
