Mine is a home made parallelogram> I made the arms and plastic collector. Love it as I find more dust coming at me than going down in the saw.
Most used tool in my shop is my 16gal SST shop vac by Rigid. I'm overly anal about cleaning the shop and tool tops. It also helps that I'm in a basement shop. The wife would ban me to an unheated...

I'm glad you posted the helicoil pic instead of this one.
Helicoils in wood is over-kill for what I need for now and beside they have to be taped in just like cutting threads for a screw, right? I'm just trying to weed out some of the taps I don't think...
Thanks Tom>
Which is the best to use on wood? I would suppose that the harder the wood it would be better to use 4 flute and soft wood would use a 2 flute, but I'm guessing here. I also have some 3 flute taps...
I use a vacume every 5min most used tool that I own. I am an old machinist and out of habit I keep my flat surfaces clean up for the next cut. I know I not working to .001 but it's still a habit...
I'll gladly take 2
Get with it Gary:)
Thanks fellows!
So I want to make a box/drawer that has an angle on one end. As I see it I need to make a jig to cut the box joint fingers? Seem to me that if I cut them square and then angle them I'll have gaps...
Thanks Angie.
Is there a relationship between the width of stiles and rails and the size of the panel they hold? I'm just wondering as I'm about to do a beam in my house in a raised panel that will be 12"+ tall...
Thanks for the reply's. Outside is not an option regrettably. I live in a residential area and the discharge would be right in a walkway for our home. I can just imagine the complaints mounting if...
I recently purchased a Delta 31-260x 18" sander. It works quite well, really a great machine.
Now for the problem. I have it hooked up to a Jet Canister type dust collector. It seems that the...
This piece is just beautiful! I had to comment on the design as it is unique. My wife just loves it and just said that it could be my next project:o
Could you show a little more detail on the...
Bill, I spent a long time designing and tweeking the style. The vanity measures 37" from the floor to the top. That may seem tall but I don't like to bend at the waist to brush my tooth.:o
I...
Jay, those would be from the reflection of the window in the mirror.
Gary it was in between pots when I took this pictures:D Plus I'm not allowed to have coffee past the kitchen, been known to...
Love to work with Walnut. A surprise with each and every board as to looks when finished.
I finally finished the bathroom vanity and matching medicine cabinets. It was a long journey!
All wood is walnut with one coat of oil then 3 coats of poly.
We wanted a medicine cabinet that...
I have the 36" version and couldn't be more pleased with the saw. The fit and finish are superb! The saw blade is with in .003 of the miter slot with no adjustment on my part.
The only thing I...
Well I glued them and really screwed up the initial fit that I had.:(
I have to agree with Bruce as it is end grain not much holding power. That said the joints can be reinforced across the back...
How many of you glue the pocket hole frames..I ask because some of the rails are only an 1 1/4" in width. Seems like overkill to me but thought I'd ask.
Currently using a 1/8hp power feeder, Delta that was discontinued $180.00 out the door :), and it seem to work great. I am using it on a router table not a shaper.
