very good review, i have seen the woodmiser operate and thought it was a good machine but i really like what i see here and for only a little more. i will definately check into this further

too many? never happen! got 2 sn2s 1 small nova 1 woodriver and a grizzly for the mini lathe. makes a lot of difference not having to change jaws in middle of a job.

i have the woodcraft woodriver chuck it is a good chuck at a good price , often on sale with a good line of acc. i have 2 super nova II s that i enjoy using and can be often found on sale as well...
i have 2 of them enjoy them very much not too heavy at all use with my thompson gouges.

recently bought a couple of thompsons, cant belive the difference and i havew tried harbor freight to sorby. and sorby is good too.
nice hollow form steve, what type hollowing tools do you use? as alwys great work.
i have that chuck over a year now works good for me and a great value for th price has a good list of jaws to choose from.
been using the scorpion and stinger sets for a while now, small learninf curve, wonderful results, you will enjoy using it.
i use the don pencil and am very satisfied with the price ,quality and service. very easy to use .
on any pieces i buff with natural edges or bark inclusions have done this too, on these types pieces i just skip the whitw diamond and go to the wax. first time this happened i had a time getting it...
aniel, i have the scorpon and stnger set, they work well no large learning curve, very high quality. use the larger scorpion for larger vessels and the stinger on smaller stuff, gives better control....
i discovered reverse sanding a while back, couldnt believe the difference it makes.
i have the grizzly 20" variable speed a very nice lathe well made and reaasonable price customer service very good too.
have tried one in maple with decent results ready to try another , watched the micachelson video helped a lot . they are a challege but very satisfying.
i have used got wood and nc wood with great service and quality from both another is river ridge sawmill.
i recently bought the 1642evs 2 man i love it smmooth and sweet glad to see i wasnt the only one who missed the screws in the faceplate almost got the threads too.
got to agree and reccomend the woodturners blade from highland breezes right through green wood
i have had the HF model for about 6 months or so use for turning tools mostly works well for me.
