Does anyone own a cordless circular saw that you might recommend? I've been looking at 7-1/4" saws from Milwaukee, Makita and DeWalt - and usually trust all three I'm just a little skeptical the...

Is Adrian Saw still in business -- couldn't find it? I believe it is Canadian. Thanks for any info. Vince
I'm constructing a cabinet next to my workbench 17" wide inside, 9" deep. I'm using 1/2" baltic birtch (it's what I've got) for the shelves dado'd into the 3/4" sides. Some of the items can weigh...
I have the table off of my old Delta 10" cabinet saw and thought it a good time to give it a lube job. I have a can of WD-40 Quick Drying Silicone, but thought there might be a better choice. Any...
Thanks, John.

[QUOTE=Jacques Gagnon;3220601]I have had good success with a circular saw, sharp blade and a shop-made « cutting jig ». The jig is a piece of MDF or plywood with a fence that produces the equivalent...
Update: Four or Five minutes with a heat gun around the base, and it slipped apart quick and slick. Many thanks Doug; got a router now and learned something to boot. Very cool. Vince
Thank you John, appreciate posting the manual.
I'm attempting - unsuccessfully - to separate a old Porter Cable router (#6902 type 8) from its plunge base (#6931). I have loosened the barrel fitting in the housing, but the router will not budge....
Looking for suggestions for hearing protection when using loud machines (especially the routers)? Much appreciated. Vince
William Ng has several tutorials, one of which is "push sticks". He is the author of the 5-cut calibration method, among others.
