"Borrowed this" from another forum. This shows the "Y" connection, a standard Fein part. For full vacuum, leave the tape over the hole in the cap....to reduce vacuum, remove tape.

Really nice, Jeremy. You should be proud. Any woodworker would be. As for the mess-ups, most of us have those....just don't point them out to others and no one will know.
This is what I use. It works very well and is easy to store.
