Wow! That's a huge slab of burl! Beautiful table indeed. Looks edible too! A cinnamon roll! ( I couldn't resist)
Nice work indeed! I must say... you're certainly brave to recycle some boards with all those nails! I got the chills when I first saw them! Nice job!
Mark,
Thanks for sharing your schedule. Do you think the finish will stand the test of time with 2 very curious little kids? :-)
Mark, I must say that this piece is exceptional. Could you please elaborate on your finishing schedule? You make the process seem simple ... was finishing a lengthy process?
Prashun,
This looks like a fun little project that's not going to take up too much time, so I guess you can say it's "doable". Keep us posted on your progress. I'm thinking of picking up those plans...
Ahhh Wixey... count me in!
My friend had the same problem as you do and just needed a little negative pressure to pull the fine sawdust out of his basement. He made a frame and installed an attic fan in the a basement window...
I have to say, that if this is your first piece or big project then it was executed extremely well. The appreciation and attention to detail will come with careful planning, studying other pieces,...
Try Lee valley for your hardware. They always seem to have a nice selection of many different styles.

Bill,
Outstanding work! Simply stunning!
If you don't mind, could you explain the schedule of your finish of the Humidor?
Beautiful piece and well put together indeed! Spalted maple is one of my favorites.
Greg,
I have the Jessem Miter xcel and Incra v27(a little similar the 5000). I prefer the Jessem simply because to me it is a little more robust and heavy duty than the Incra. The Incra is rolled...
This is a very good question. I am curious to see who would gladly lend out a precison tool even for an hour? Raise your hand if you would lend out a Starret 90 degree square or any tool for that...
Larry,
Which model are you suggesting?
Hi Folks,
I am in the market for a good 1/2 sheet sander since my porter cable 505 just died. Since I had bought it used and don't know what had been through before, I don't want to pass judgement...

John,
Very beautiful indeed! Your drawers are a touch of perfection! Did you use a dovetail jig to cut them? If so, which one?
Andrew,
It's very beautiful indeed! That is some pretty walnut!
If I look at your drawers closely, I notice that the figured walnut flows seemlessly even though you cut them after your glue up....
