I think this article is 10 years old. I love cherry but good cherry is expensive nowadays.
Check out fellow creeker Robert Laplaca's tall case clock in the June issue of Fine Woodworking. It is stunning!
Well done Lyndsey! Very artistic...what a fun project.
Nice Glenn. Did you use seal coat thinned 50/50 X2? And what is your color mix?
Nice garden project for springtime Jim. Perhaps some follow up with pics later in the growing season?
Christian, well done! I like large pieces - attractive and functional.
Michael, I will look forward to your post after installation. Process was very interesting. Your walnut is gorgeous.
Nicely done Mike. I appreciate all the hand work, especially the moldings. It is almost a lost art. I still do not have a router, although when faced with handplane finishing a large table for my...

Andrew, very attractive cabinetry - really adds to the shop.
Buying a new car, got what I think is a decent deal at $49,000, and then dealer adds PA state tax ( $2940 ), new plate and registration costs ( about $100 ) AND thens want to add $500...

Like the way the grain continues across the drawers, cherry I assume. Drawer profiles look good!

Tony, that is a beautiful table. The mahogany really shines. I love mahogany and find it easy to work with hand tools. I will post pics of my table when I am done.
