I have one that is about 3 years old that has only been used a handful of times. I purchased a domino and no longer use it. I would be willing to make you a deal on it if you are interested.

I fabricated my own soapstone counters in my house. Used a tracksaw with a diamond blade for most of the cuts and a jig saw to finish the corners of the sink cutout. Then a router with a carbide...
Thanks for the tip Mark. That was the issue. Have never heard of this and would have never thought that the switch box needs to be vertical for it to work.
I purchased a V3000 from Oneida right after the new year and finally got around to putting it together. Got it together, plug it in and hit the power button and nothing? Plugged it into the outlet...
I have this heater in my garage for a couple years now and am very happy with it.

I was curious how much it cost to...
Yep looks just like paint but sprays easier and is more durable than paint. They make a white and a black. My local store will tint it to match just about any Benjamin Moore color too.
If you have spray equipment look at General Finishes pigmented poly. It was designed to spray so it sprays much easier than a typical paint will and dries in a couple hours so you can do multiple...
Got it. The specs on this particular unit says it comes with a magnetic starter with on off with and overload protection.
...
Thanks Jim, I saw that post. What I am wondering is does a solution like that require me to re-wire the motor to bypass the switch and magnetic starter that comes on it from the factory? In other...
I am planning on purchasing an Oneida V3000 and have been researching the different switching options available and need a little guidance.
I like the idea of having a few well placed switches...
Very nice work! I would be interested in the sketchup file if you are willing to share.
I have had one for a few years now and have not had any issues. Maybe I just got lucky, but I think the issues with that saw were somewhat blown out of proportion. A few people had an issue and...
I ordered some hinges from them for a blanket chest I just finished and was happy with them. Probably not as nice as brusso but about a 1/4 of the price.
Thanks for the drawing, I get it now.
I looked into having a custom bit made a few years ago. I can't find the email so I can't give you the name of the company I talked to though. Someone local...
What am I missing here....how can you have a 36mm radius but only a 24mm dia?
This is a good thought. I have 4 small panels that need to be 9" wide, but I was going to do those out of one piece so I could plane down a board for those panels. I have two larger panels in the...
Thanks Dave, I'm originally from Central Wisconsin and will be up there again in a few weeks but I may not be able to wait that long. I have procrastinated to much already...I may just have to give...
Thanks Scott. That was what I was planning on doing, but when I looked on their website today it said the max they can resaw is 8" I even called to verify since that seems really small for a lumber...
Making a blanket chest as a wedding gift for my brother and wondering if anyone in southeast Wisconsin has a large bandsaw and could resaw a few pieces for me.
I have a few 1" thick x 9"-12" wide...
Gary, I think your correct in that they are saying to use the slow speed and take a bigger cut. Still seems like you would want it on the slow speed for the final pass. Seems like most people here...
Just got a new grizzly 15" planer. The planer has two feed speeds and the manual says to use the low speed for the dimensioning passes and the high speed for the finish pass. This seems backwards...
Did you have a set of plans you followed? I have been looking for plans for some chairs like this for awhile now. Care to share where you found yours?
John thanks for the info. I guess I need to decide if I have the room for this in my shop and then talk to the seller and how flexible he is on the price. I really want the thing but can only...
So a static converter like this would work? Seems like I am missing something, this seems to cheap?

I would love to have it....but I would be stretching my budget already just to purchase the machine, and then I would still have to buy a phase converter and upgrade that power to my house. I only...
