Richard's Idea was the one I was referring to- I forgot what you call it, but I've seen it used many times.

I like that Dave!
Send the jointer to me and I'll have it properly destroyed so nobody get hurt. :D
Try the removable caul system normally used for adjustable shelves. Only fasten the roller to the shelf support boards. It would work great, I think.
Very beautiful!
I really like the new Trend blade cleaner, and it's pretty cheap.
I've built countless benches. I always assume I'll never want to take it back apart. But then I end up using a sledge hammer and chain saw to disassemble all my hard work...
You'll have to split that wood down a bit if you want to burn it in the stove! :D
I can't read the Grizzley wish book. My wishes have a way of coming true and I end up with a new tool in my shop, and a VERY angry wife.
Have you tried hooking that house vacuum up to the lathe? That Orek guy says his can hold a bowling ball, no problem... :D
A good turner needs a good lathe. Me, I use a big HF one that's never let me down. But I'm not a good turner...
It sure is a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet vise. But pricey!
People get down on MDF because it isn't real wood. I don't get it. I make all my projects out of MDF and OSB with a bit of TLC and they always come out A-OK! :D
I hate going to an estate sale and they have everything priced like they're a retail store. If you want to sell something, you have to sell for a lot less than new. Otherwise people will just go buy...
Don't look too close at it, you could slip and lose an eye!
I got a set of Stanley Fat Max chisels to beat on. They have an iron shank inside that connects the tip to the endcap. And they are very durable! I think I paid about $80 for a set from 1/4 - 1 1/2"....
I can beat that. I dreamed about woodworking since a boy, but it took over 30 years to make my very first cut on a table saw! I was scared to death!
I live in Michigan and keep the shop heated all the time, but only in the 40's. I find that comfortable to work in, and nothing freezes at night. Of course the temp has to be raised to do glue-ups...
Try making four 10 degree cuts followed by a final 5 degree cut. Works for me :D
I tried using a cabinet scraper on the lathe once. I sure miss my fingers...
Is it better to say "hard boiled eggs" or "soft boiled eggs"... I can't figure it out...
Wow- that's nice, John!
Does Jorgenson start with a "W", because I like their US made clamps! :D
I wish I knew Excell better- there's SO MUCH more that can be done with it that most people ever know!
Just fantastic! you are a talented person, but you probabally already knew that!
