The above wiring diagram will indeed work, but you will lose the dynamic braking of the VFD. For me, I was wiring a table saw so the braking wasn't critical.

Carl,
A few reasons. PVC is much more durable and unaffected by moisture swings (my shop is largely unconditioned). As Allan said, I could also glue the couplings directly into the PVC blanks...
I meant to post about these years back when I made them, but clearing out shop reminded me that I never did. Yet another idea for shop made blast gates.

Curt makes a good suggestion -- I've done that before on other planers. On my 22-101, I was fortunate enough to get the original dust hood. As for mounting, I wanted a quick way to mount/remove it...
Framing squares are easy to correct. A quick Google search revealed the method I use:
Sorry, Sam, but while we're at it -- '69 FJ40 with SBC350/SM465. Sadly, it recently became the down payment on our first home :(

Howard,
To answer your original question, you can use spacers on the outside of the corners that are less than 90 degrees (the long diagonal). Then run your band clamp around the perimeter and...
Looking at pictures of both, they look to be identical saws, just badged differently.
Dave,
On my wife's wall-mounted spice rack, I used a pair of slides at the bottom, although your idea should work. However, you may notice them (the top slide especially) experience some...
I hung onto hope that I'd find my 270 slider for too long, so I put that quadrant away for that day... but it wasn't meant to be. I'm just glad it went to a fellow old iron guy who will use the heck...
I haven't seen or used a T17 slider, but after a bit of research on them, I think Kyle's assessment seems spot on. With its extended rip and crosscut capacities, I'd slot it for sheet goods work...
I've half-lapped and glued in situations like this, with a couple of carriage bolts through the whole joint.
Alan,
I'm assuming one side of the moulding will be hidden, so I'd screw a longer scrap board to the hidden side (keeping the screws out of the path of the blade) and clamp down that longer board....
It's $20 to rent a Uhaul 5x8 trailer. It's really the way to go if you have a tow hitch.
Bill,
It has been a couple of years since I rebuilt my old Parks, but I don't remember that gear giving me trouble. However, if I remember correctly, the gearbox hangs off the end of the...
Ty,
I have a bunch of these heavy duty totes for packing my tools: Totes
Costco happens to have them right now for about $8 and change. They hold quite a bit of weight.
Chris,
The Woodpecker shelf pin template worked well for me on my last kitchen. It's the same router-based design as the MEG jig but made of phenolic and much more affordable.
