I use them for wood storage and use the braces with the angled support. I also had a bunch of 3/8" ply from a salvage and used it to make shelves and screwed them to the braces. Very strong system.
Raymond,
I consider myself a novice woodworker so take this answer with the appropriate amount of salt.
I have made these cuts using all the methods possible. For me, the right tool depends...
I shimmed mine when I first got it. The manual explains the process quite well.

I use an apron that is made by the "Bucket Boss" people. I like everything about it except that the pockets are not covered by flaps. The pockets fill with sawdust in no time.

For those of you who have made these. I have the first glue-up complete and planed to 5/8". Now I have a board 35" long X 11 1/2" wide that I need to crosscut into equal 1 1/4" strips. If I use my...
I have the Incra LS on my shop-built router table (with Woodpecker top and lift). This is an amazing precision tool. The joinery aspects are great and I've made box joints and dovetails with little...
Great looking set-up Gary. How do you like your Tempest? I'm looking for as much real world information on dust collectors as I can get.
Thanks for sharing,

Lou,
That is a beautiful table. I especially like the drawers and your dovetails are gorgeous. How did you cut them?

Jason,
Beautiful lines, beautiful wood. Well executed. Your neighbor is very lucky.

Very Weied,
I was just thinking last week while making a frame that I love the smell of walnut while I'm working. Smell is a powerful memory trigger and machining walnut puts me back in junior...
Matt,
I've read all the encouraging posts and can only add that it seems you've reached this decision after a great deal of thought and I respect and support that completely.
I can understand...
Bryan,
The bench is beautiful. Simple design, sturdy, and obviously well made. Great job. Enjoy it.

Hello All,
I am making the frame shown below from plans in Woodsmith. I am using walnut. I satrted making this about two weeks ago and everything was going well. I finished all the pieces and did...
Mark,
Again, this is why I love "The Creek". A hacker like me is exposed to work like this on a daily basis. Beautiful doesn't come close.
Also good to see another central Ohioan. Let...
