    PM2000 electrical

Final got the nerve to pull the trigger and got myself the PM2000 even after seriously considering and almost going for the Jet Xacta. Got her home and, with help of two neighbors, unloaded in the shop. Assembled with no problems per se. However, I do have some questions for the electrical gurus here.

Okay, so I have found several minor issues between the assembly instructions and the actual assembly. By minor I am referring to printed instructions are using SAE while actual bolts and nuts are metric. Not a problem.

But, as I was dismantling the switch box, to replace the short power cable with a longer cable, I noted that the actual wiring was different from the printed wiring instructions. Specifically, the white and black wires are reversed. (Printed shows white to 1L2 and Black to 5L3. Actual setup is reversed.)
Has anybody had an issue such as this? And which should I follow now the actual setup as I received it or the printed instruction version?

  2. That is 240 volt, so it makes no difference which wire is which.
