I haven't posted anything for a while. Here's a Cherry bowl I completed. It's about 4 1/4 inches across and 2 1/4 tall. Finished with a couple of coats of Danish Oil and buffed. Still working on getting better pics.

It was green when I turned it. I got the log from a buddy who cut down the tree due to ice storm damage. Like a dummy I only took one piece and he burned the rest in his fireplace.Originally Posted by Steve Mawson

Dave, that is a sharp looking bowl. It has such a nice sweeping pattern through the grain that really gives it a unique look. Great job!
