    Transtint Dye under stain question

Recently I read something that spoke about using a yellow or golden transtint then putting a pigment stain on oak for a mission oak look. IIRC it said that the dye would impart a warm glow to the wood that was missing with simple stain. There was alot more to the pieice I did not read but would like to.

Does anyone kow where I might find this writing????

    TIA , Ken
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem.

Do a search on Finewoodworking online.
I read a similar article there on coloring mahogany. I bet the technique's the same.
