    Walnut and Ash?

I recently acquired a two drawer chest made from white ash. It has a medium brown finish(not sure what was used). I was also gifted a number of 5/4 black walnut boards. Just wondering if the walnut would overpower the ash. I do have a little ash on hand, and thought about banding the walnut with ash to tie it all together.
    Any thoughts?

Thanks Jerry, that looks pretty good. The ash doesn't have near the figure that the maple does, but it is pretty close in color. I think I'm going to give it a shot. I'll try to post pictures when I get going on it. It'll be good practice. Haven't done a glue up for a very long time.

I absolutely love ash and walnut together. Here is one little project I did with the two woods together.

It's a footrest for under my wife's desk.
