I haven't seen the item. Where is supposed to be.
Best educated guess for Atlantis is either the sunken portions of Alexandria, Egypt or the destruction of Thera resulting in the destruction of the Minoan culture on Crete. Both events fit the time frame and Plato would have know about Alexandria and Crete.
