Well, right now it is stone with wood. Who knows, next week, next month? I've been working on a little box of cocobolo and soap stone for over a week. Haven't got it finished yet but learning a lot.

Hmmmm... I love making lidded boxes, but my favorite thing to turn is fresh pear wood. I don't care what I'm making. I just love the ribbons and curls that come off of pear. Wet cherry is becoming a recent favorite thanks to Creeker kindness.

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

Nearly anything from a burl - as long as I can put a finial or pedestal with it! More in to hollow forms at this point.

I enjoy the combination of spindle turning and bowl turning techniques.

Dollhouse miniature vases and bowls, and segmented turnings.
