    Boondock Iowa,

I'll never forget the horrendous night I spent in Boondock when my cars water pump died on the way from Kansas City to Rochester, MN. Being broke down in Boondock should be the title of either a blues or country song.
"History is strewn with the wrecks of nations which have gained a little progressiveness at the cost of a great deal of hard manliness, and have thus prepared themselves for destruction as soon as the movements of the world gave a chance for it." -Walter Bagehot

    Climax, Ga
Cairo, GA - pronounced Karo, just like the syrup. The high school football team name is the Cairo Syrup Makers
    Coosawhatchie, SC
Beech Island, SC - even though not spelled like beach I still had a lot of people ask for directions to the beach . . . head east for about 3 hours.
    Two Egg, FL
Doctortown, GA - gateway to great fishing
Frogmore, SC - so small I'm not sure it is even on the map, but known as the home of Frogmore Stew

Oh, I forgot, Santa Claus, GA

Everybody knows what to do with the devil but them that has him. My Grandmother
I had a guardian angel at one time, but my little devil got him drunk, tattooed, and left him penniless at a strip club. I have not had another angel assigned to me yet.
I didn't change my mind, my mind changed me.

Noble, TX, a few miles from Petty, TX

    Gun Barrel City, TX

    Dime Box, TX

Fink, TX (I actually used to have a hat that said Fink, TX on it... kind of funny)

There is an old road named Slickum Slough where I used to go duck hunting all the time. That road sign was stolen about 50% of the time.
