    Prayer Request for Duff Bement

My brother-in-law, Duff Bement, has been in ICU since last Thursday. At this writing he is in surgery for the 3rd time to repair leakage from the small intestine. Your thoughts and prayers will be welcomed by Duff and his loving family. Duff is the newly elected president of the local woodturning club in Rochester, MN. I visited him in ICU Sunday and Monday. We discussed the latest pictures on SMC. He was quite excited about the new Sorby Spiraling Tool he received and was planning on giving it a go by now. Duff is such a genuine good guy and strong. Fortunately, he is in a very good hospital with the people and equipment to deal with this. Duff has demonstrated the past 5 days just how strong he is. Your thoughts and prayers will be heard. Likewise, your continued thoughts and prayers for others – Jim and Dan. Thank you.

Linda, so sorry to hear about Duff. I still recall the pic that was posted by him, as I recall, introducing you to your fellow creekers. I pray that he will recover soon, and that the surgical repair resolves this problem.

  8. Duff will be covered by prayer! God does answer prayers prayed in faith believing!

" Keep us posted on his condition."
Duff is doing much better. He will remain in ICU for 1-3 weeks as they fight the abdominal infection and absess. But knowing Duff, he will get home sooner rather than later - even if there are still a couple of tubes attached. I can picture him now, sitting in front of his TV watching a turning video. Thank you for your thoughts & prayers.
