    Birch Burl

    I have been turning only BURL since being told to stay home.

    Nice. I was recently given a big triple crotch of river birch. I wasn't sure what to do with it, or even to invest time in cutting it into turning blanks. It's not burl, but is a huge crotch piece (>22"). Perhaps it is worth my time and chainsaw.
