    Ash Dyed Bowl

This is a ash bowl 7" round, Dyed with artisan dyes diluted by 1 to 1 with DNA. First dyed red sanded back lightly then dyed yellow. Then 8 coats of antique oil. Comments and critique welcome!

Nice dye work. Good job sanding back and the use of yellow to highlight the wood. You might try rubbing black wax or dark shoe polish into the grain to accent the open pores while filling them in. Just another option?

Really nice bowl and I like the simple form. Color looks great.

So neat. Hope to see it soon. Keep playing with it. There is tons of dead ash around Chicago and filling the grain really helps make it look better.
