    Pc 7518?

I was using my 7518 this PM and noticed that when I turned it on it revved up and then settled down to a steady RPM. I did not observe any operational difference other than that. Is this normal or am I just becoming aware of something that has been there all along. Bought the 7518 in Jan.

Many modern routers have circuitry that senses load to maintain the selected RPM. It seems like all the routers I own that have that, the PC 7518 included, do what you describe. I think it is just that circuitry tweaking the power under the load of startup. Once it gets to speed it settles down.
The alternative is that the machine is possessed so I go with the circuitry deal to avoid wearing garlic and stuff.....
