For my own I use a bees wax and mineral oil mix that I buy already mixed. I made 8 cutting boards that I will likely give away.
Rather than use the wax/oil mix I think I want to use the Minwax's or Watco butcher block oil on these - easier to apply I think.
Is the reapplication period after use greater than one over another (paraffin product vs bb oil)
Any other considerations?
Wood whisper likes the salad bowl finish and suggests the "film" is one is not really noticeable and that it lasts much longer than mineral oil.
