    My first go at turning Christmas Gifts

    I have only been turning for about 8 months now. Here is what I have to show for it.

    Thank you very much. I used 10 or so coats of CA glue, then wet polished to 12000 grit. The recipients were very happy.

    Nice job! I've never seen an ornament like that. I need to show that to my buddy Jake who makes more ornaments than anyone I know! Where did you find the metal parts?

    Nice work, really like the tree ornament. Is that spalted maple on that one?
