    What does the $225 piece of aluminum provide that a straight 1x2 can not give you? Especially when you use it like a story stick like Cliff does. It's hard to beat the accuracy of a knife or sharp pencil line to layout more than one piece. You could build an entire kitchen with just the marks on a piece of wood.
