Because...I needed to get this mess off the assembly table, and place Side #2 up there...

This time...glue into the sockets...run a bead down each of the 9 runners near each screw hole...LIFT Side #1 and all them frames up onto Side#2..slide the tails into the sockets..all 9 of them...then work at getting the backs of the frames screwed down square to the front of the case.....( and, some cussing was involved, too..)until I could..

Lift it up, and set it down own it's own 4 feet....

Needed to add "filler strips"....2 at the top were fairly easy...rip to width, cut to length..one for the front..

of Ash, that I also resawn to 3/4" thickness, as I thought 4/4 a bit too thick

And a Pine one for around in back..

This and the one at the bottom, will be to help attach the 1/4" plywood panel to the back of the case...

Waiting on these to cure. before I add the bottom 2 fillers...Ash one is a bit "fancy" and will need glue blocks to back it up with..

When I get the back of the case installed...as that will square the entire case up..

Stay tuned....

(Hmmm, glue up a top for the case, OR, build 8 drawers next?)
