    Lacquer over BIN primer?

A guy I know is having trouble finishing chairs with white nitrocellulose lacquer.
He said when it's dry it rubs of easily. He's had to strip the chairs down again.

I asked him what primer he used and he said BIN. Might this the cause of his woes?

    Sorry about the sideways photo.

Solvent based lacquers should generally always be used with the same brand vinyl sealer/primer for best results. Your acquaintance should ascertain what the correct product is to use with the "Luster Lac" product.
