    Spalted Maple vase

This one fought me to the bitter end with tearout................it lost. 11" tall by 7" diameter, buffed gel poly finish.

Nice, I like the ring on top. That's my next shape to try.

Something tells me it would take more than a spalted hunk of maple to beat you at turning!

    Simply graceful. Another Stinson beauty.

This is first class work Travis! The ring on the top really gives it that extra touch of class.

I can almost type "wow" without looking anymore...WOW! Another beauty, Travis! Absolutely beautiful. And I really appreciate the simplicity of the form and so forth as it really lets the wood speak. The illusion of a collar works well in that respect, rather than having an added piece, as it doesn't distract while adding just enough emphasis around the opening. Nice!

Travis that is a mighty fine looking piece for you having trouble with it. Love the form and finish especially the circle on top. Nice job.

Andy may want to be careful, Travis may turn him into a hollow form.
