Thread: Fixing a broken scrollsaw arm.

Unhappy Fixing a broken scrollsaw arm.

I bought a Delta 40-560 scroll saw about a year ago and haven't had the chance until recently to actually run it for awhile. Since it's my first saw of this type it took me a bit to notice the broken tip on the front of the saw. (see blurry photos and yes I am apparently blind as a bat).

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to repair the arm?

Buy a new arm is the simplest way to go.

I assume you don't have the broken off part? I'm with Rick--see if you can get the part from Black and Decker.
