    Tool tote

Some of my wife's relatives visited us this last weekend. I helped their son build this tool tote (will be a Christmas present). Construction is simple butt joints reinforced with dowels. Material is red oak. The finish is linseed oil.

Excellent tote. How did you learn to carve letters? It is a skill I would like to learn.

    Dennis,

Neat to hear someone helping younger folks learn about woodworking. It's quite a nice looking piece to just throw tools into. I don't think I'd have the heart to do it.

I should have mentioned that we cheated on the letters. They were cut on my home made CNC router.

"cheated", "Home made CNC router". Overachieving perhaps, but not cheating.
