    jointer blade sharpening

Is it hard to sharpen jointer blades on a flat water stone. I have a 2000 and a 6000 grit?

If the blades are like mine & made from high speed steel you won't have much luck. You can do it but be prepared for a long process. Diamond stones - a medium grit - will work somewhat faster.

You will need to build a little jug so's to keep the stone angle dead on and clamp the blade.
