    New mobile base from rockler

Looks like it may be the thing for a large bandsaw like the Grizzly G0513x2 everyone has been buying. May interfere with the lower door???

Anyone own it or have any thoughts?

IMO, $189.99 seems kind of high for this one

I agree the price is high but I like the 800# weight capasity. I have a 20" planner that could use this base.

It looks great. I don't think I'd pay that much for it but if you use one of their 20% off coupons it would be a little easier to swallow.

  5. I've checked it out at the local "R". They have one mounted under a Delta Hybrid.

It is a very smooth little base. It absolutely manuevers with ease. The wheels look to be of great quality and the base locks solid.

The only thing I could knock is the price. Even at 20%, that's a chunk.

OTOH, I've been meaning to get a nice base for my table saw.

Why spend twice as much as the cost of one from Grizzly. It is just a mobile base and serves one purpose and that is to allow movement of a tool in this case. I can't see this unit at $189.00 doing that any better. Your only going about two to ten feet with it if you move it at all.
