    spalted blanks

    Hey guys I cut down a tree back in the summer (a chinese tallow) just left it laying on the ground where it was cut. I went over today and brought back a piece and thought it looked pretty good. whatta ya think?

    I cut the tree up when it was cut down and it looks like the whole tree is this way (3' at the bottom and 50' long

    That wood has some FINE color to it. You are going to get some nice turnings out of a 50' log...Bill...

    Congrats on all the spalted wood! You never know what you get until you turn it but it is safe to say that what ever you turn is going to be amazing! Great looking wood! Looking forward to seeing some turnings out of it!

    That is almost worthy of a "You Suck!"
