Curiosity got the better of me a little while ago, so I did some digging through the member list. Based on what I found, I'd like to see a little broader participation from the membership--it leads to a wider variety of opinions and answers to questions, shared experiences and the like. Here are some numbers for you:
The top 20 posters (I was tied for #18), or about .46% of the membership, have contributed about 28% of the total number of posts (43,000+ out of 154,000+)There are 1786 members (of 4336 at this writing), or 41%, who have NEVER posted. Among those are a pretty good number of "illegal" user names, but I didn't count--I estimate a couple hundred or so at most.So, for those who have never posted, at least do one to say "hi"! Don't think your opinions don't count, or that you don't have any wisdom or experience to contribute--share what you know!! There are a broad, broad range of abilities here, and just because you aren't the best or most experienced, doesn't mean you can't help someone else out with a question/problem/issue.
