It sure has been a while since I have checked in here. Lots of new faces and many old ones as well (figuratively) . I have been busy with finishing up my house these days now that I have some time, all new: siding, windows, roof in some areas, and many many interior and other infrastructure projects.
This particular one has been dear to my heart for quite some time...a new front entry from 1950 Honduras Mahogany. Everything is solid mahogany - door, sidelights and transom is solid staved construction and then "skinned" both sides. M&T construction with pegged tenons. I used West Systems 2 part marine epoxy and finished with Setol clear "Door & Window" marine finish.
