    Elm Bowl

Well here is bowl #3. It is what I call Chinese Elm wood. It was pretty easy turning or the more I turn it gets easier. I was amazed that it has been a couple of months since I cut it with the chainsaw and just used latex paint to seal it. I put on 3 coats and it seems to have worked well. Anyway got it roughed out and in the DNA. SWMBO told me to finish it so it looks nice because she is making a candy dish out of it for the table or she said she might use it for potpourri. She said I would like to have one a little bigger and (I just smiled ) said I have to have a bigger lathe for that. Anyway here it is.

Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
