    DC -- size of pipes

I have the Delta 50-760 DC. The intake is 5 inches. I had planned to make my runs 6 inch dia. Does that make sense?

I don't know if up-sziing to 6 inches will be good, bad or indifferent. What do you guys think?

It might work for a short run, but I wouldn't recommend it. No reason not to use the 5" pipe. You'll be happier in the end. Up-sizing is kinda like adding a trap!
