I'm glad that I'm not the only one. At least you're finished. I now have to wait for some warmer temperatures to finish painting my shop.

Set of Pfeil butt chisels made my christmas special, perfect size to fit in the tool box for work. That and smiles from my two year old. Merry Christmas all.

LOML and I decided that our gifts this year would be to "allow" each other to buy what we really wanted...haha. I cashed my gift in early on Black Friday and took advantage of the 10% Ebay/30% MS Live cashback and picked up a DW735 planer for just over $250 delivered.

Then I used a $100 gift card from work to pick out some more Xmas presents:
A Wixey Digital Height readout for my new planer, and a 4 piece DC port/featherboard router accessory kit for my router table. Grand total: $99.98 (Free shipping was Rockler's Xmas gift to me)

Now Ive got to figure out how to spend the $150 in Menards gift cards that various family got for me!

    Festool C12 2.4 Drill Kit

Santa along with an unexpected $100 Amex gift card (from work) made the C12 an easy choice. Going to hit 70 degrees tomorrow. I'll have to play in the garage for awhile..

I bought myself a magnifying glass with LED lights around the rim. I am sad to say i am very excited about a magnifying glass. I also bought an Incra mitre gauge for myself about a month ago on amazon that is just showing up at the post office.. My kid gave me a snow scraper. Life doesn't get much better.

    Supergloat!

My wife gave me permission to get this myself for christmas. 30% MS Cashback, 10% ebay coupon and $100 rebate from SC made it a nice deal.

Diann bought me a digital moisture meter.

Unfortunately all my wood was at 6% or lower, which is the bottom indicator on the bar graph.

So I moistened the end of a scrap with 8 drops of water, and watched as the moisture content started at 40% and slowly fell to 11% as the water travelled further into the wood.

    Regards, Rod.

    G0593 8" Jointer w/ Spiral Cutterhead

Bought the G0593 about three weeks ago but kept it under cover until xmas, which was very hard to do.It's sweet, don't know how I worked without it. I noticed in the 2009 catalog it's not listed. If I get time I'll post a pic.

    Are these original?

Hey guys. I got these four posters from my buddy as a Christmas present. He thought they would look cool in frames in my shop, I totally agree. They look original, but may not be. No matter what, I think they are excellent and cannot wait to display them in my shop. Maybe someone knows a little more about them. They all say copyrighted 1952 by Chevrolet motor division, General Motors Corporation....Courtesy of your local Chevy dealer.
    What do you think.

Got a Veritas® Wheel Marking Gauge, very nice, works beautifully, though rather small for my hands, but that is fine.

I got a Porter Cable 4212 dovetail set.

I think it was a hint that she really wants a new kitchen...
