    Two for today

Good evening to the VORTEX!! Here are a couple little ones that I finished up today. The one with the green collar is made from a jackpine cone with acrylic pen blank for the top. The other is spalted hard maple with an ebonized collar. My wife thinks the pincone one looks like a pinapple!

    Thanks for looking,

    Jeff

Agree on the pineapple look alike. How do you attach the tops? These are really neat.

I love the little pineapple! How did you do the joint? Are they fully hollowed to the shape of the outside?

They are pretty nice small ones Jeff, if you make them very small you could fit them in some small boxes, I done some a few years ago, picture taking wasn't too great in those days though

Found these I made over 15 years ago, before I "knew how to turn". Ebony goblet 11/16". Have to get those dentil tools out again.
