    Different versions of Rigid Planer TP1300

    I am looking at buying one of the older "grey" model of the Rigid Planer TP1300 and I am wondereing what is the differnce in this version and the new "orange" model.

    Different manufacturers. IIRC, the grey one (which I have) was made by Emerson, orange one by Ryobi or some such. I remember looking at the orange version some time after buying the older model. Seemed to be basically the same machine, with maybe a little less fit and finish. I know the knives were the same.
