Posting Pictures

Hey, I know this has been posted before but, I did a search and I was unable to find enough information on how to post a pic. I do not have a private web page to post from. I found directions that said to write your post then scroll down click on manage attachments, then click on browse, select the picture from your hard drive, then click upload. Well this did not work for me. My computer switches over to the "This Page Is Not Available" page and my post stays the same NO PICS. Any Help would be great. Thanks

Tim, your pictures need to be in JPG or GIF formats and less than 100kb in size or the upload will fail. Otherwise, you are following the correct proceedure.

Tim, it sounds like you are following the correct procedure, are you clicking on the “preview post” button? For some reason, if you click preview post, the vBulletin software looses the uploaded picture.

I am clicking the preview post button. I will try it without and see what happens. Thank you gentlemen for your help.

Keep your pictures max dimension at no more than 600 pixels and you should be fine for the size it is (in bytes). The actual size of picture you are allowed is like 107 something kb.
