    Pair of Maple Bowls

Had this crotch sitting around since last summer. Finally decided to rough it out a little while ago and then soak it DNA. Finished them up recently. I tried doing to different styles. the thinner walled one is 8.5" across and about 2 3/4" high with around 3/8" walls. The thicker one is 8.5" across and about 2.5" high with around 3/4" walls. Both are finished with Waterlox and then buffed with tripoli, white diamond, and carnuba. Hope you enjoy

Andrew - very nice work on both of your bowls! Good form, finish and wood! Really like the thinner of the 2 bowls - the curl really adds to it!

When i went to finish these on the same day I decided to go with one of a more rustic and utility look and one with a more modern look. BTW this wood was sitting around at our local yard waste dump waiting to be turned into mulch

Looks a lot nicer as a bowl than it ever could as mulch! Good save and pretty bowls. Love the curl showing on the last one...Bill..

Great looking bowls. Form and finish look good.
