Dewey,
Steve was sent the plank last week. I am waiting for its return so I can glue up the plinth.
When that is done, I will send the whole thing to Belton.

Looking pretty good Mike!! Its really starting to take shape now. I still love those little feet more than anything else!!
Belton, one box coming your way, get ready!!
If at first you don't succeed, look in the trash for the instructions.
Mike, you really do some nice work. This group build is not only interesting but I'm learning from it, too. I'm also thinking that I may have to attempt my own version of the box considering how great it's looking already.

Dewey,
What comes to mind off the top of my head would be a rose themed bracelet or necklace. If jewelry isn't appropriate, I'll put some more thought into it. I could do a pendant like the one in the pic, only with a rose theme and colors. What's my deadline?

I was thinking about crucifying you, but I got your apology before I could think of something good to post. I also thought about adding "ski" to Torres..........
It's all fixed and looks good......I'm off to the Post Office.......

First,
Steve, got the panel back, looks marvelous. It is currently glued in to the plinth - will post pics once the glue dries
Second,
While I was waiting I made an addition to our project. I thought: "what is a box without a secret compartment? - Boring!"
So, I came up with this:
Here is the box as it currently looks
Box 51.JPG
Now remove the drawer and look in
Box 52.JPG
The blue tape is for now, hopefully we can get Ken Fitzgerald to make an additional pull for this, put a couple finger in and lift on the pull and slide the box up the ramps
Box 53.JPG
This inner box has a lid
