You did a good job showing off some beautiful wood.
Now thats a nice one, especially for a "first"!
A few more pics from different angles would show it off even better.

Matt,
Gorgeous wood and finish! The form looks good from the angle in the photograph. I'm with Barry, photos from some different angles would provide a better overall view.

So much to learn, so little time.....
Matt, Like a lot of us the picture taking thing is always the tough part! The wood looks like it has some great color and grain in it, but gets lost in the gray back ground. Like already said some more angles gives us all a better perspective of the piece. Great start and more to come I am sure!

Thats some amazing looking wood, good job with it!!
If at first you don't succeed, look in the trash for the instructions.
You dont want to see my first winged bowl, HA. good work. Max
You did a great job with a real challenging form. Beautiful wood, too. Your photo background shows off the wood nicely.
Looks pretty good from that angle and some good looking wood. I would also like to see some pictures from different angles and the bottom.

Sorry for the delay. I didn't take these pictures, but here is a side view .
Way to go Matt-good job and you still have all your fingers???
Wood grows outside, so why not photograph it out there?

Matt - very interesting form on your winged bowl! Don't normally see the wings point down - looks pretty cool to me! Very pretty wood and a nice soft look to your finish! Looking forward to seeing your second one!

Good job there! My first one had perfectly horizontal wings ... for the first week or two. They're "alive" now, so pointing down was a good call.
Love the piece...all that great color in a piece of wood! Thanks for posting the second shot. well done...Bill..
