    Black Walnut bowl

    Here's another of the bowls I've finished lately. This one is black walnut from a limb crotch, it measures10-7/8 by 3" by 5/16". Fished with Antique oil and buffed.

    That is a beauty Frank. Simple form and finish looks great. Feathering in the wood is fantastic.

    I like the simplistic form of that but the figure on that puppy is great. I love walnut.
    well depending on the way I would travel, I'm roughly 2,340 miles to 2,529 miles away from the infamous STEVE SCHLUMPF!!!!

    Gorgeous!

    Frank, That has a very nice tight feather in the crotchwood and lots of sublte color changes in the wood! Great simple and elegant design, it really lets the figure in the wood stand out!
