The first is a piece of Cottonwood, It had a branch in it..it's about 5", Poly/Buffed.
Second is Tulip Poplar, about 3". I wanted to practice with a set of Grizzly mini hollowing tools. The hole is 5/8". I got to about 5/16" thick.
