Excellent job of joinery and beautiful results, Jim. You did one heck of a job of grain selection which is not always easy with cherry. And also an outstanding job down to the buttons which is not as easy as many would thing to get those small buggers detailed proportianately.

May I ask... did you use real Ebony accents or colorize some other wood?
They look fabulous.
Did you handcarve the lightening bolts? Very subtle.
I'm guessing you used alot of handtools.

I find the 107KB ceiling on jpgs makes for small, lossy and diminished project photos.
You sure had no problems with that... great pics.
