Here is a video that shows my rosette cutter in operation. I'm using my PM90 and hotglue the blanks to the faceplate.I have a 1/4" brass pin for locating the center. These came out pretty clean for red oak without sanding.

Very neat Paul, I've been looking at getting rosette cutters for my drill press, but I've never seen that method before. Thanks for sharing.

How much money and/or time did "The Creek" save you today. I'll bet it was more than the cost of becoming a contributor.

Paul, I really enjoy your videos. They are concise, and instructional - always a couple of neat ideas put forth. While I don't forsee a need for the rosettes, I can sure see some adaptations of this method for other applications.
Since I am really new to this turning thing, are the blade holders available, or is that something you built?
Great idea Paul! vice video too.
Always drink upstream of the herd.
Look at post #9 under Rosette Cutters last month and see the other blades I have made for this holder. This holder was made by Del Stubbs many years ago and has a #2 Morse taper that goes in the tailstock. This would be a good way to make wheels, but I haven't tried it yet. I'm thinking of making another one for larger moulding corners etc. (Not sure how to reference a past post.)
