    NE Cedar Bowl

Sometimes the accepted standards can be side stepped and then you work thru the process. Thought I'd share a cedar bowl with the pith in it. Crack with coffee in it, still a natural edge bowl is pretty rustic. Thicker edge, but side walls are just over 3/16". Bowl is 3 x 6 1/2.

That is some good looking cedar and a very nice bowl. Looks to be maybe the wood is about ground level.

It was above ground, around the perimeter of the bowl, there are several places where you can see the heart wood from the limbs.
